Typically weighing between 9-16 lbs, this happy-go-lucky dog is often hypoallergenic and requires less exercise than the average breed, making it a great fit for apartment living. The Shih Tzu is often calm and very friendly towards people and other animals.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Affenpinscher<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b &#8211; These terrier-like dogs are confident and sweet. The dense, harsh coat comes in several colors; the gait is light and confident. They can be willful and domineering, but mostly they are loyal, affectionate, and always entertaining.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>French Bulldog<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bred as companion animals, French Bulldogs or \u201cFrenchies\u201d are smaller than their traditional Bulldog counterparts. They are playful and affectionate in nature and love to be near their owners. French Bulldogs, which tend to be no larger than 28 lbs. in adulthood, are adaptable to both small and large spaces and are devoted pets to individuals and families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>English Bulldog<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Often sporting an adorably grumpy-looking underbite, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bulldogs tend to be lazy and would rather sleep than go outside. Typically weighing in between 40-55 pounds, the bulldog is friendly, tolerates being left alone, and needs regular exercise. The bulldog is an above-average barker and they do tend to drool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dachshund<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dachshunds come in two sizes (standard and miniature) and in three varieties (smooth-, wire- and long-haired).
