Beer connoisseurs seem to find themselves gathered at The Bruery, a Placentia-based boutique craft brewery specializing in barrel aged and experimental ales. With 32 tap beers as well as bottled options to take home, including some pretty hard to find brews like the barrel aged Bois, those who love craft beer consider this a watering hole to behold.
Each fall since 1965, this celebration of Placentia’s heritage includes a parade and fair booths. The festivities begin with the Chamber of Commerce pancake breakfast in the morning followed by the parade and live music performances. Activities include an annual car show, a crafts fair, food booths, kids games and more.
Tri-City Regional Park has a beautiful lake in the center with a path that wraps idyllically around it. Here, park-goers enjoy bicycling, model sailboating, fishing, jogging and playgrounds. The park is also home to wildlife, baseball and soccer fields as well as picnic areas with barbecues. The park also hosts many community events, including a summer concert series.
